Timeshare Rentals: A Guide

Author: Ross Bainbridge

Timesharing is a concept that allows people to buy vacation property for a fixed amount of time. This is considered a better and cheaper (in the long run) alternative to renting vacation property. When you rent a timeshare, you stay at some of the best resort properties in the world, and the amenities are luxurious you spend half as much as you would staying in these same accommodations at regular room rates. You save yourself the expense of purchasing a timeshare that locks you in to certain weeks certain times of the year, yet you have all the advantages during your stay.

Timeshare rentals are wonderful for families because they are usually one, two or three bedrooms with a kitchen. You have all the comforts of home in a fabulous location. Whether you choose to ski, beach, golf, fish or just relax in your room, youll find a rental timeshare that meets your needs.

Imagine renting a condo at a resort for less money than you would pay for a hotel room. It can be done. If you go online, youll find hundreds of places available for rent. As a family, you can enjoy a wonderful vacation at Disney World. As a couple, the romantic Island of Bermuda is the perfect getaway. With the money youll save on room accommodations, youll have extra cash to do activities you otherwise might not have been able to afford.

Owners who wish to rent their timeshares usually advertise at places like www.timeshares.com, www.yahoo.com, www.tug2.net, www.lycos.com and www.hotBot.com. These are just a few sites to check out. You can also do a Google search and come up with hundreds of listings.
